Did you know that cinnamon is tree bark? Cinnamomum Zeylanicum is the tree.
For this process:
1) first the bark is removed from the tree
2) then it is shaved manually to remove the outer coating, one can say, and this leaves the inner scented part
3) it is then cut into uniform pieces
4) lastly is put to dry in an airy location – it is this time when the ends curl and you get then product we recognize as cinnamon.
Cinnamon is available at ÔBO Vanilla.
