Markets are always fun. This market was at Cordoaria Nacional, a former naval rope factory in Belem that is now an exhibition center. (Also produced candles, flags and other naval supplies.) There was a host of local vendors with clothing, jewelry, accessories, stationery and much more. Getting out and interacting is always a great way to learn about and observe culture.
